An Opportunity Awaits you.....
There is a practice in Buddhism called Dzogchen, where they have established through direct practice and experience that life and death occurs in the Mind, and only in the mind. In Uzbakistan there are the Chiltans, also called the Dream Healers, who seek to heal trauma by accessing painful memories in the healing space of dreams. Then you have the Yogi’s of Inida, who have taught since ancient days, the path to direct experience of God, the Source, or Creation (whatever word you feel most comfortabe with). What all these traditions have in common is their direct knowledge that healing occurs in our inner spaces of Mind and Memory. They know that in order to have direct experience, we must cultivate practices that remove us from our current patterns and create patterns that are in alignment with our Spirit, and the Source of what we are.
Alberto Villaldo wrote a book called “Yoga, Power, and Spirit,” where his 25 years of experience in Yoga and Shamanism have led him to feel that all forms of ancient knowledge, even all forms of shamanism, dates back to the Himalayian mountains where the sidhus have so long practiced their knowledge.
In the ancient tradition I trained in, I am in agreement with Alberto. I am also in agreement with my own teacher, and Alberto, when they seek to heal the divine feminine. Or, what my teacher, James Whitegle, would call, “thee feminine force.”
Therefore, if you find symbols or information on this site that doesn’t seem to be in alignment with popularly known shamanism, know that there is more. Know that any teaching should bring you direct experience of YOU, or to direct you to cultivate a practice that will help you to manifest your own direct communication with the Source. Also know, that you cannot ignore your body as long as you live in this reality. “The coat has needs, as does the Spirit.” It is for this reason that Yoga incorporates physical movement, with breath, meditation, and correct living patterns. It is the same with the knowledge offered here.
